Appraisal is the process of evaluating your materials for quality, uniqueness, and sensitivity.

Traditional Knowledge, often abbreviated as TK, a living body of knowledge specific to a particular community that is passed down from one generation to another and that forms part of the cultural identity of that community. TK includes technical skills (e.g., agriculture and health), genetic knowledge (e.g., ethnobotany and zoology) and traditional cultural expressions (e.g., folklore, dance, music, art, designs, symbols). TK is also called intangible cultural heritage.
